New COO Appointed for HCSL

Healthcare Compliance Solutions Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Will Barnett as Chief Operating Officer.

With a career spanning leading global healthcare organisations and New Zealand digital health ventures, Will returns to the aged care sector to support HCSL’s next phase of growth—driving innovation, operational scale and entry into the Australian market.

Will’s career includes leadership roles at McKesson, Change Healthcare, and KenSciFor the past 6 years, Will developed his own business Aceso Health, where he and business partner, health technology veteran Gabe Rijpma, focused on improving care coordination across the New Zealand health sector.

Earlier in his career, Will was product manager of 1CHART by Toniq. 1CHART is one of the first digital medication management platforms in New Zealand, developed in partnership with a multidisciplinary group of clinicians, aged care providers, and Health New Zealand, and significantly improved medication safety across the aged care sector.

While taking a break following the acquisition of Aceso, a chance encounter at a Digital Health Association network meeting, led Will to subsequently gain more understanding about HCSL’s commitment to both its customers and sector-led innovation. This led Will full circle back to his roots in aged care and the opportunity to join HCSL’s mission.

Will brings an exceptional blend of global thinking and hands-on product leadership. As a clinician who’s worked on the floor and subsequently written policies and published books on aged care, Gillian Robinson-Gibb (CEO) knows how powerful it is when technology truly reflects the day-to-day realities of care. Will gets that! His track record and passion for enabling providers make him an ideal partner for HCSL as we grow and support more providers across ANZ.

With a rapidly increasing market share, as COO, Will’s guidance of HCSL’s operational strategy, product growth and expansion, is very welcome.  Collectively Will,  Gillian and the HCSL team will continue focussing on our core principles of supporting providers save time, reduce risk and evidence all that is needed for regulatory compliance.

We welcome Will to the team.
