Staff Register
As a Human Resources user you will be able to create and capture all relevant information for new staff members as they come on board. Name, contact details, start date, orientation complete, employment type, vaccination status etc.
ONLY the user with Human Resource permission is able to view, add, change and amend the staff user records.
Ethnicity & Visa Tracking
As part of the new Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard Collecting high quality ethnicity data is essential both for patients/residents and staff, as such this is now recorded and reportable under the staff records as well as VISA status and the ability to track details and terms.

Digital Noticeboard
HCSL offers an Internal Digital Noticeboard designed to replace the paper-based communications book to be used facility wide.
This is used for a wide variety of internal uses, such as Appointments, Reminders, Tests, Facility notices, Outages, Training video links, plus much more

Under each individual staff record is incorporated a private staff document library, this is for storing all relevant documents such as:

- Qualification Documents
- Appraisal Documents
- Competency Documents

Appraisal & competency Scheduling
A competency appraisal is a process in which an individual is assessed for his or her competence in a particular area of employment. The main objective of the competency appraisal is to ascertain whether an employee is able to carry out his or her duties in a professional role.

As part of the appraisal & competency module, to ensure staff reviews are maintained, automated notifications are able to be set up as reminders prior to the review dates. Appraisals, baseline recordings, Behaviors of concern, Catheterisation, Chemicals of concern etc.
